Announcement from the Magisterial Hose of KMFAP about the decease of our Vice Minister Sir József Kovács

It is with deep sorrow that The Magisterial House announces the decease in Hungary of our beloved brother and Vice Minister for Cultural Affairs of the Government of our State, Sir József Kovács K.C.M..

Jozsef Kovacs

The extraordinary musical talent and the marvellous voice of the Tenor Maestro Sir József Kovács have taken him to perform in many different countries, always with great success and admiration, making of him a real ambassador of the Hungarian Arts and Culture. For this reason Sir József Kovács was recently decorated by H.E. the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Hungary as a recognition of his long and outstanding career, as one of the most famous Hungarian and International operatic tenor.

Our Sovereign Order and State is proud of having had such an extraordinary man and artist as one of its Knights and as a member of its Government.

The beautiful voice of the Maestro Sir József Kovács will remain forever in our hearts, as one of the world's treasures of the Belcanto.

His Most Eminent Highness, Prince José, as Grand Master, on behalf of all Knights and Dames of the Federation, expresses His most sincere and deeply felt condolences to the family of Sir József Kovács.

The Magisterial House of KMFAP would like to share, once more, the beauty of his voice by inviting all to visit the following link in the YouTube, where, after a short presentation in Hungarian language by a speaker, Sir József Kovács sings "Non ti scordar di me" ( Do not forget me).
