Snippet from FEMERAID International Air Rescue as of 18 August 2021
The Air Rescue Team of FEMERAID International informs all our members, Knights and Dames of the Sovereign Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Knights of Malta, Federation of the Autonomous Priories (KMFAP) about the followings:

Question: - With the scenario of – You are fully vaccinated, but accidentally came into contact with a COVID-19 positive case – What should you do? Response: - Ignoring and praying for the best? Reply to this: - NO, NEVER!

So, if you are fully vaccinated and have had contact with someone who has COVID-19, or think you might have COVID-19 - what is the appropriate response?

Prior to this new phase of the pandemic and advised precautions, it mattered whether or not you had symptoms. Now this is irrelevant - EVERYONE needs to get a TEST.

The test must be carried out 5 days after the potential exposure (not the 1st or 2nd day, but at least 3 to 5 days after the potential exposure) if no symptoms occur.

The hygiene protocols are also critical; wear a mask everywhere and stay home from the time of potential exposure or presentation of symptoms.

If the test result is negative, normal life can be resumed. If the test result is positive, a quarantine of at least 10 days is required. If symptoms occur, the guideline is to be symptom-free for at least 24 hours after the 10th day of quarantine.

Please take note and follow these new recommendations to keep you, your family, and your community safe.
